The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra concludes its 2024/25 season with powerful performances centered around Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. Under the direction of Music Director Salvador Brotons, the orchestra will also feature acclaimed pianist Olga Kern, who will perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. These performances take place on May 31 and June 1 at Skyview Concert Hall, showcasing Stravinsky's revolutionary work that transformed concert music. Kern's virtuosity on the piano will complement the rich orchestral textures of both pieces.
