Shakespeare's comic battle of the sexes, Much Ado About Nothing, is brought to life in this saucy new production set in a modern-day garrison town. Can Beatrice and soldier Benedick be fooled into falling in love with one another? Can everyone's favourite "perfect" couple - the most-talked about young soldier, Claudio and garrison commanders daughter, Hero - be made to doubt their love and be taken down a peg or two? Much Ado About Nothing is directed by Pia Furtado and produced by the Mercury Theatre Colchester.
