Sie können jetzt einen ersten Blick auf Fotos vom 4. jährlichen Festival des Breaking the Binary Theatre werfen, das am Sonntag, dem 26. Oktober, zu Ende ging.
In diesem Jahr besuchten über 2800 Personen das Festival über 12 Aufführungen hinweg, und BTB konnte über 125.000 Dollar an über 100 trans, nicht-binäre und two-spirit+ Künstler:innen auszahlen.
Das Festival begann am Montag, dem 20. Oktober, mit einer einmaligen Produktion von The Drowsy Chaperone in der Carnegie Hall und wurde im Open Jar Studio mit Beiträgen von Cheeyang Ng (they/them), The Lady of M Street von Dane Figueroa Edidi (she/her), Hiraeth Or, When Pluto Was a Planet von Jayne Deely (they/them), und Punch Back von Genevieve Simon (he/they) fortgesetzt. Das Festival endete im CENTER mit Limitless, das von L Morgan Lee (she/her) und BTB-Gründer George Strus (they/them) mit neuen Stücken von Adrian Einspanier (they/them), Audley Puglisi (they/them), Barsha (she/they), Bazeed (they/them), Chris Bush (she/her), Dom Martello (they/them/she), Emmanuelle Mattana (she/they), JJ Maley (he/they), Jordan Ramirez Puckett (they/them), Sam Mueller (they/she), Travis Alabanza und Utkarsh Rajawat (they/them) mitkonzipiert wurde.
