Die 25. Jubiläumsproduktion von Mel Brooks' The Producers läuft nun im Ogunquit Playhouse. Die Produktion vereint Mitglieder des ursprünglichen Broadway-Ensembles und Kreativteams und zeigt dabei die originalen Broadway-Kostüme, die exklusiv für das Publikum in Ogunquit restauriert wurden. Das Buch stammt von Thomas Meehan und Mel Brooks, die Musik & Liedtexte sind ebenfalls von Mel Brooks. Regie und Choreografie übernimmt James Gray. Die Vorstellungen beginnen am Donnerstag, den 27. August, und laufen in einer begrenzten Spielzeit bis zum 26. September 2026.
The Producers werden mit Jason Kravits (Broadways The Drowsy Chaperone) als Max Bialystock, Dan DeLuca (OPs When Elvis Met The Beatles) als Leo Bloom, mit Stephanie Gibson (Broadways Cinderella) als Ulla, John Rapson (Broadways Sweeney Todd) als Franz Liebkind, John Scherer (OPs Kinky Boots) als Roger DeBris, und Nathan Lee Graham (TVs „Mid-Century Modern“) als Carmen Ghia besetzt.

The Producers zeigt Susan Stromans mit einem Tony Award ausgezeichnete Regie und Choreografie, die von James Gray (Broadways The Producers) neu inszeniert wurde, Assistenz-Regie und Choreografie von Angie Schworer (Broadways The Producers), Musik-Supervision durch Jesse Kissel (Broadways Days of Wine and Roses) und musikalische Leitung von Brian Whitted (Broadways Chicago). Das Bühnenbild stammt von Eric Luchen (Evil Dead Australian Tour), Lichtdesign von Richard Latta (OPs Ain't Too Proud), Original-Kostümdesign von William Ivey Long (Broadways The Producers), Sounddesign von Kevin Heard (OPs City of Angels) sowie Perücken-, Haar- & Make-up-Design von Roxanne De Luna (OPs Hello, Dolly!). Daniel Everett (OPs Ain't Too Proud) ist der Produktions-Stage-Manager. Das Casting erfolgt durch ARC.
