Much Ado About Nothing is a beloved Shakespearean Comedy that relies on tensions created by a paradoxical use of deception by its characters as a tool to both disrupt love and promote it. This famous double plot line explores one romantic couple that encounters external obstacles and one realistic couple who battle through internal obstacles using wit and intellect as their weapons. Through a fresh and daring lens this open-air site-specific 90-minute production will be led by a full female/gender non-comforming cast which challenges “Who owns Shakespeare?”, creating a dynamic exploration of ownership and bodies in space.
