Are you an “Unromantic” or a “Romantic”? This production of John Cariani’s “Love/Sick” may help you find out! Either way, under the direction of Toronto actor, director and theatre teacher Diana Reis, some fine performances from the Act 2 Studio WORKS group drop you right into crucial moments in the lives of nine couples. Playing June 5-8 at the Studio Theatre, TMU School of Performance, 345 Yonge St, Toronto.
Even the first heady sparks of love don’t run smoothly here, and reality is constantly taking off in challenging directions.
This play goes darker than Cariani’s most famous one – Almost Maine – but characteristically, it deals with questions everyone can relate to. Plus it's very funny.
Don’t miss it!
