In honor of Canada’s 150th, Echo sings songs reflecting Indigenous and Métis perspectives, folksongs in various languages, songs by the Wyrd Sisters, Bruce Cockburn, Willie Dunn and others; Nano Valverde’s Suave Brisa (words by disappeared Argentinian poet Graciela Pernas Martino); the title song - a new piece by Andrew Craig; and more. Becca Whitla & Alan Gasser conduct, with Whitla also at the piano. Guest artist is singer-songwriter Coco Love Alcorn (https://cocolovealcorn.com), who performs her song That Old Feeling with Echo, and in a short set of her own sings Tiny Lights, Good News and The River.
Ages: All ages, as long as they can sit through a concert.
