Academy Award winner Renee Zellweger talks about portraying Judy Garland and also the challenges of fame in a revealing interview with Lee Cowan for CBS SUNDAY MORNING to be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 22 (9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.

Renée Zellweger stars as Judy Garland in the upcoming film JUDY. The film takes place in Winter 1968 and showbiz legend Judy Garland arrives in Swinging London to perform a five-week sold-out run at THE TALK of the Town. It is 30 years since she shot to global stardom in The Wizard of Oz, but if her voice has weakened, its dramatic intensity has only grown. As she prepares for the show, battles with management, charms musicians and reminisces with friends and adoring fans, her wit and warmth shine through. Even her dreams of love seem undimmed as she embarks on a whirlwind romance with Mickey Deans, her soon-to-be fifth husband.

JUDY, The Original Soundtrack, will be released on September 27, coinciding with the release of the feature film, starring Renee Zellweger as Judy Garland. The film is based on the true story of Judy Garland's final concerts in London in the late 1960s.

On Wednesday morning's episode of Good Morning America, the morning show shared an exclusive first look at the upcoming film Judy starring Renée Zellweger.

Pathe UK has released the first exclusive poster for JUDY starring Renee Zellweger! Zellweger stars as Judy Garland in the upcoming biopic directed by Tony nominee Rupert Goold (AMERICAN PSYCHO, KING CHARLES III, ENRON) from a script penned by THE CROWN's Tom Edge. 

This morning, Radar 'exclusively' reported, 'Renee Zellweger and Liza Minnelli have taken a genuine liking to each other, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively, now that Zellweger is playing her mom in the upcoming Judy Garland biopic.' Only a few hours later, Minelli, the daughter of the famed Judy Garland herself, took to Facebook to clear things up.

Check out this first look at Renée Zellweger as Judy Garland in the upcoming biopic. Tony nominee Rupert Goold (AMERICAN PSYCHO, KING CHARLES III, ENRON) will direct from a script penned by THE CROWN's Tom Edge. Production on the film has just began though an official release date has yet to be announced. 

According to Deadline,  Finn Wittrock of American Horror Story Fame has been cast in the upcoming film JUDY, joining previously cast Renee Zellweger in the role of Judy Garland. The film is centered around the final London concerts of the great Judy Garland. Wittrock is set to play Mickey Deans, the fifth and final husband of the legend. 

Ren e Zellweger will take on the role of famed singer and actress Judy Garland in an upcoming biopic. Principal photography will get underway in February 2018 on the film which will center on the star's final concerts in London.
