After her breakout roles in Brooklyn 99 and In The Heights, Stephanie Beatriz stars as Mirabel in Disney's new animated film, Encanto! BroadwayWorld caught up with Beatriz to talk about starring in a Disney movie musical, working with Lin-Manuel Miranda, and her Broadway aspirations!

Disney has released a brand new clip of 'We Don't Talk About Bruno', one of the musical numbers from Encanto written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The voice cast of the new animated film features Stephanie Beatriz, John Leguizamo, Diane Guerrero, Wilmer Valderrama, Maluma, and more.

The new trailer includes an original song from the film, “Colombia, Mi Encanto.”

He said, 'I'm actually writing a new animated musical with Disney animation. I'm collaborating with the Zootopia guys and Jared Bush, who wrote Moana with me. It's set in Colombia, in Latin America, and that's all I can say before Bob Iger just shows up at my house.'
