Paul Osborn's family comedy dishes up a triple dose of nostalgic pleasures. The plot plays out over just two days in the lives of the four aging Gibb sisters living in a small Midwestern town in 1938. It deals with ramifications within the family when two of them begin to question their lives and decide to make some changes.It's a charming portrait of small town America. It was revived on Broadway in 1980 and 2002 to critical acclaim.
