Armageddon, released in 1998, follows a misfit team of deep-core drillers recruited by NASA to save the planet after an asteroid the size of Texas is discovered on a collision course with Earth. The film stars Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Willis, Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck, Will Patton, Keith David, Owen Wilson, and Steve Buscemi. This screening kicks off the Summer Classic Movie Series celebrating America's 250th birthday.
