Kurt Sutton Brings New One-Man Mark Twain Show to Manatee Players, 3/31

Kurt Sutton returns to the Manatee Players in his brand new one-man show based on Mark Twain's book "Roughing It" on Saturday March 31 for one show.  The curtain time is 2 p.m.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 941-748-5875  or online at www.manateeplayers.com.  The Manatee Players are located at 102 Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton.

The new show is described as "a hilarious account of the author's adventures in buffalo hunts, mining camps and on the lecture circuit."  Mr. Sutton has previously brought his acclaimed "Afternoon with Mark Twain" to the Manatee Players, always to sell-out houses. 

Kurt H. Sutton was born in Mannheim, Germany, immigrating to the United States in 1950. He grew up in Canton, GA, graduating from the University of Georgia in 1968 he then taught for 6 years in his hometown and in North Carolina, where he received his MA. Ed. Adm.

He has performed as a business speaker, musician and entertainer for 30 years. In his instruments include harmonica, guitar, and banjo. He has appeared in the movie, "Go Tell It on the Mountain" featuring Paul Winfield and "Night Shadows" featuring Wings Hauser. 

As Mark Twain he has appeared in theaters nationally pleasing audiences with Twain's hilarious witticisms, wisdom and love for music.
