Morning Masters with Simon Powis & Anna Da Silva Chen at Sutherland Arts Theatre

Musica Viva Australia’s Morning Masters series debuts at the Sutherland Arts Theatre on Thursday 23 March with guitarist Simon Powis and violinist Anna Da Silva Chen presenting musical snapshots from across the globe.   

Experience a rarely heard pairing of instruments performing Romanian folk dances, Spanish melodies infused with North African influences, Argentine tangos and works by the likes of JS Bach and Robert Beaser.   

The daytime concerts continue throughout the year at the recently refurbished Sutherland Arts Theatre, restored to its Art Deco glory. From April until October, audiences can expect encounters with the sublime, providing joy, inspiration and respite from the outside world.
