Switzerland can be said to have a few renowned names known the world over – Federer, Swatch, Toblerone and … MUMMENSCHANZ! This legendary troupe, formed in Paris in 1072 by three Helvetic dreamers and visionaries, has introduced to the world a theatrical performance unique by its own standards. MUMMENSCHANZ is unique in its use of theatrical masks, silences, impressive characters and performance that can be quite often hilarious. A unique troupe, MUMMENSCHANZ has and continues to leave its mark in the theatrical scene by choosing silence as its mode of expression and creativity as its language. With as little as a carton or a flour dough, a few toilet rolls or even a piece of an electric wire, MUMMENSCHANZ gives life to the entire universe, creates history big or small filled with strange and colorful characters…
