Oratorio for mixed choir (9 choirs, 300 singers), contralto, baritone, Narrator and large Orchestra (75 musicians). It is composed of excerpts from the music of the eponymous film by Sergei M. Eisenstein, on texts of Eisenstein and the poems of Vladimir Lugovsky. Musical performance will be enriched by the simultaneous projection of images Eisenstein film, with French subtitling, translation of the texts sung by the choir. The public will benefit from a better understanding of the work and will be able to exactly place it in its historical context. The origin of the project: Mr. Ferran Gili-Miller with the participation of the music municipal of the city of Geneva.
