Musicals at Richter, Connecticut's longest-running outdoor theater, will conduct open auditions from March 26-29 for its upcoming productions of 1776 and Mary Poppins. The auditions are open to high school, college, and adult performers.

Playwright Michael Raimondi will present the premiere of MISTER SNICKERS OF NEW YORK CITY as part of the 2026 Fresh Fruit Festival Mainstage. The production will be staged at The Wild Project in New York’s East Village.

Ozzie Rodriguez, a beloved figure in the experimental theater community and longtime Director of La MaMa’s Archives, has died at age 81. A playwright, actor, director, visual artist, and master archivist, Rodriguez passed away in New York City on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
