At Otterbein, you will produce exceptional pieces of American theatre while learning from and working intensely with our experienced, professional artist-teachers and guest professional artists. You will learn the intricacies of the art form, while being exposed to critical networking and professional development opportunities, including working professionals in New York City and Los Angeles through our nationally-recognized internship program. We have created a program based on mutual respect, professionalism, laughter, and joy. If you’re prepared to flourish in a challenging and supportive artistic environment, Otterbein is the place for you.

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival has announced it will return in 2026 with its previously planned 2025 season, including Richard III, Much Ado About Nothing, and a world premiere adaptation of The Beaux’ Stratagem.
