Bachelor of Science in Music |
The Molloy University Bachelor of Science in Music is a liberal arts degree in music that provides you with the opportunity to develop your artistic voice through a flexible, diverse curriculum. You can choose up to 26 elective credits so you can further your skills in music technology, music composition, performance, or other areas outside of music. Like other students in the Bachelor of Science in Music program you can pursue a minor in a related discipline or even a second major.
We offer courses in state-of-the-art music technology that allow you to develop your own compositions and explore music creation using digital media.
We provide you with development opportunities and internships with some of our partner music organizations, including Opera on Tap, MISE-EN New Music, the Madison Theater, and Classical Saxophone Project. In consultation with your advisor, you can carve your own academic path that fulfills your personal academic and artistic needs. Molloy University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
