When we last left our heroes, Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect were stranded on prehistoric Earth, and Zaphod Beeblebrox had teleported to parts unknown. Now hear about their further adventures, as originally dramatized by BBC Radio in 1980.

Will Arthur and Ford once again manage to hitch their way off the planet? Will Zaphod escape from the Total Perspective Vortex in his quest to find the man who rules the universe? Will Arthur’s preoccupation with tea get them all into hot water? And what awaits them all on the planet Brontitall, with its collapsed civilization, a race of avian technophobes, and a mysterious man hiding in a derelict spaceport?
