On The List – Broadway the NSA Way is an original South African musical produced by the National School of the Arts in partnership with K-Movement, with support from the SAMPRA Development Fund. Set in 2026, the production explores AI, influencer culture, popularity versus artistry, and money versus integrity, drawing inspiration from A Chorus Line and Fame. The story follows a determined young female director searching for talent to create South Africa's next ground-breaking musical, as singers, dancers, comedians, musicians and dreamers compete for a place in the spotlight. The production is co-directed, written and choreographed by Khaya Ndlovu Mpehle and Kensiwe Tshabalala, with head writing by MoMo Matsunyane and musical direction by Tshepang Dean and Zolani Shangase.
