JESUS: DIE MUSIEKBLYSPEL at The South African State Theatre

Johan Scholtz and Soné Combrink Productions, in collaboration with the State Theatre, present JESUS: DIE MUSIEKBLYSPEL, the story of Jesus and his life as a man on earth, as told in the Bible. A world premiere, JESUS: DIE MUSIEKBLYSPEL promises to be a unique event on the cultural and spiritual calendar 2013 and will be performed at the State Theatre Opera House.

JESUS: DIE MUSIEKBLYSPEL tells the remarkable story of Jesus Christ, making use of original music as well as renowned spiritual hits. Jesus' journey here on earth, His humanity, His agony, His greatness and His deity are all depicted to remind audiences of a miracle that took place more than 2000 years ago.
