Imagine Africa: Our Stories Brought to Life at Peoples Theatre

A new production featuring stories created by world-renowned author and storyteller Dr. Gcina Mhlophe, including classics like Golden Windows, How the Lion Got His Roar, and Horns Only, alongside popular music. Brought to life through imaginative props, vibrant costumes, and music, the show invites audiences to sing along. Through theatre-in-education and active audience participation, children step directly into the stories as characters, navigating challenges alongside a professional cast including Bethany-Joy Jiyane, Boikie Mogorosi, Khosi Mkhonza, and Luciano Zuppa.
