Waitress Photos - Broadway

On Thursday, December 12, Waitress hosted a very special reunion of 12 adorable alumnae and current Lulus for a colorful sendoff for the hit Broadway show. The girls (and their parents) traveled to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre to catch up and say hello to the cast before the show closes up its Broadway run on January 5. One Lulu even traveled all the way from South Carolina!

Katharine McPhee returned to Waitress, beginning last night, November 25. She will play the role of Jenna until the show closes in January.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Katharine McPhee will return to Broadway as Jenna for the final weeks of Waitress' Broadway run. McPhee returns to Waitress, where she made her Broadway debut last year.

For the third year in a row, the leading ladies of Waitress will change the iconic waitress uniforms from blue to pink for the month of October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Jordin Sparks has officially 'opened up' her run in Waitress! She began performances on Monday, September 16th for a limited engagement through October 27.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, recording artist Jordin Sparks will join the company of Broadway's Waitress in the role of Jenna from September 16 - October 27. This will mark her Broadway return after making her debut in 2010 in Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights.

Today, on April 24th, Waitress celebrates the third anniversary since officially opening on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in 2016. The Broadway company celebrated yesterday with a special cake by the show's own Pie Consultant, Stacy Donnelly of Cute as Cake.

The pie shop is filled with new faces this spring as Shoshana Bean and Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan take over the roles of Jenna and Dr. Pomatter in Waitress on Broadway. Bean can currently be seen alongside Joey McIntyre as Dr. Pomatter, who plays his final performance on April 7. Jordan will take over the role on April 8 through May 12, 2019.

Joey McIntyre is now donning the white coat of Dr. Pomatter! His first performance was last night, Monday February 4 at 7 PM. He plays a limited run through April 7, alongside Stephanie Torns as Jenna!

Joey McIntyre is set to don the white coat of Dr. Pomatter in Waitress next week (Monday February 4), starring through April 7. Eddie Jemison, who played Ogie in the 2007 film of Waitress, is set to make his Broadway debut in the role beginning on February 11 and playing through April 28. Yesterday, Carole King attended the matinee of Waitress, and posed backstage with the shows current stars, Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel, along with the rest of the cast!

Academy Award nominee June Squibb (Nebraska) has officially joined the company as 'Josie', the role formerly known as 'Joe' in Waitress! Squibb began performances on November 19 and will play through January 6, 2019.
