The world premiere of Jack Craddock is Having a Party, a new comedy by Harrison Harvey, has been set to play nine performances only at Moving Arts Theatre beginning Friday, May 12, at 8pm. This Spotlight focuses on John Wuchte, a talented actor/director/writer/composer and amazing Tribal Acting theater creator, who I first met during last year's Hollywood Fringe Festival when I attended his masterful musical production Scarlett Fever which told the true story of the great search to find an actress to portray Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind in 1939. The production utilized John's unique style of performance, which he calls Tribal Acting; a combination of movement, gesture, song and dance, all accompanied by live percussion. And I was hooked!

The play marks the 100th anniversary of the ceasefire of the First World War in 1918 and is set in its final months. Tom Stuchfield directs Chris Born (Volker) Guy Clark (Dixon), Olivia Hanrahan-Barnes (Isabella), Julia Kass (Mathilde) and Max Roberts (Wilkinson). Stuchfield also performs in the piece as Spencer.
