Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman - the critically-acclaimed new play recently named to an industry-leading 25 Best-Of-The-Year lists - will welcome many new cast members beginning Tuesday, February 19, with Brian d'Arcy James leading as Quinn Carney.

Dutch Kills Theater (In Quietness, The Sister, The Providence of Neighboring Bodies) will present the World Premiere of SELKIE by Krista Knight (Hissifit, Primal Play). Directed by Matt Dickson (Disco Pigs, We The People), performances run through December 22 at The Wild Project.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its 56th season with its fourth Main Stage production, Buried Child. This will mark the first time the Theatre has presented a play by Sam Shepard, who passed away last year. Paul Mullins returns to direct. Veteran company member Sherman Howard leads a cast that features returning company members Anthony Marble and Carol Halstead, as well as Roger Clark, Paul Cooper, Michael Dale, and Andrea Morales, all of whom are making their STNJ debut. Performances begin September 19. Patrons can purchase tickets at The F.M. Deya Danielle Drake's dark comedy, ESCAPE, will premiere at The New York International Fringe Festival on October 20. The limited run is directed by Lynnsey Ooten.

California Shakespeare Theater (Cal Shakes) announced further details today for the Shakespearean centerpiece to the 2018 Epic Season, The War of the Roses. The War of the Roses is a monumental evening of theater spanning four history plays-the Henry VI trilogy and Richard III. Presented as an action-packed evening, The War of the Roses will deliver a fast-paced, far-ranging, vividly theatrical depiction of two powerful families-the Lancasters and the Yorks-and their decades-long fight for the English throne. Political unrest and power grabs collide with weak leadership and civil strife as the country fights against the threat of tyranny.

EPIC Players Inclusion Company's Springs Cabaret Benefit, EPIC4AUTISM: Songs from the Spectrum, will take place on Autism Awareness Day on April 2 at the HBO Theatre in Midtown. A pre-show cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres starts at 6:00 pm with the cabaret show starting at 7:00 pm. The evening is being generously sponsored in part by HBO's Corporate Social Responsibility Division. Proceeds will go towards funding EPIC Players upcoming season including their next production, William Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Classical Theatre Company returns to the great Henrik Ibsen for the first time since their critically-acclaimed 2016 production of A Doll's House. Ibsen is known for his no-holds-barred critique of the world - in particular, society - around him, and An Enemy of the People follows that same course.

On a distant island a woman waits. Robbed of her position, power, and wealth her enemies have left her in isolation. But this is no ordinary woman, nor an ordinary island. She is a magician, able to control the very elements and bend nature to her will. When the vessel carrying those who wronged her appears in the distance, she creates a vast magical storm to bring them to her then they awake finding themselves in a place where nothing is as it seems.

The critically acclaimed production of The Grinning Man, directed by Tony award-winning Tom Morris (War Horse) and based on the classic Victor Hugo (Les Mis rables) novel, The Man Who Laughs, has taken over Studio 1 at Trafalgar Studios from 6 December, following a hugely successful autumn 2016 premiere at Bristol Old Vic. Production images are today released for the UK premiere of Will Eno's award-winning play The Open House, directed by former Artistic Director of the RSC, Michael Boyd. The production will run at the Ustinov Studio until Saturday 23 December, with opening night for press on Wednesday 29 November. It will then transfer to London from 18 January 17 February 2018, playing at Notting Hill's Print Room at the Coronet.
