Ken Ludwig's Baskerville - A Sherlock Holmes Mystery is without question the most brilliantly funny adaptations of one of Holmes' most famous cases. Since it was first published in the Strand Magazine between August 1901 and April 1902, The Hound of the Baskerville has become possibly the most well known case of the crime fighting duo, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. In Ludwig's version, as Holmes and Watson work to solve the case, only three other actors play all 43 other roles in the play; more often than not, changing those characters in a split second right before your very eyes. That's right. Ludwig wrote the show to only have five people in the cast!

Tacoma Little Theatre continues its 101st season, A SEASON OF FIRSTS, with a hilarious “whodunit” comedy for the season, Holmes for the Holidays (or The Game's Afoot), written by Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, The Fox on the Fairway), and directed by Jennifer York. 

“Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery” will be the first play of the Hampton Theatre Company's 2019-2020 season, opening on October 24 at the Quogue Community Hall and running through November 10.

To open its 24th season, First Folio Theatre (Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83.) will begin with the literary-inspired production SHERLOCK'S LAST CASE, by Charles Marowitz. A threat hangs over the world's most famous detective as he faces an opponent he never expected. This thrilling adventure mixes suspense, humor, and breath-stopping surprises. Directed by Janice L. Blixt, SHERLOCK'S LAST CASE previews October 2-4, opens October 5 and runs through November 3, 2019.

Take Note Theatre today announces the full cast for the brand-new production of Sherlock Holmes and The Invisible Thing to be staged at Rudolf Steiner Theatre - a stone's throw from Holmes' 221b Baker Street. David Phipps-Davis directs Stephen Chance (Sherlock Holmes), Doug Cooper (Inspector Peacock), Philip Mansfield (Dr Watson), Imogen Smith (Betty Rochester) and Vanessa-Faye Stanley (Lucy Grendle). Written by Greg Freeman, the production opens on 25 July, with previews from 17 July and runs until 18 August.

Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: The Next Generation) makes her West End debut alongside theatre titans Jacqueline King (Doctor Who, BBC; Spring Storm, National Theatre) and Simon Thorp (Hard Sun, BBC; Royal Shakespeare Company), esteemed actor and LQBTQ+ campaigner Sophie Ward (Young Sherlock Holmes, Amblin Entertainment; Jane Eyre, BBC Films) led by one of the most exciting up and coming UK actors Kwaku Mills (good dog, UK Tour; The End of Eddy, UK Tour).

On the second Season Finale of CBS's ELEMENTARY titled 'The Woman' and 'Heroine', as Sherlock reels at the reappearance of his former lover, Irene Adler, a series of flashbacks unravel the tumultuous events that led to his downfall into addiction.

On the midseason return of CBS' Elementary, entitled 'Dirty Laundry,' Sherlock and Joan investigate the murder of the general manager of a high-end Manhattan hotel whose body is found inside an industrial laundry machine. Meanwhile, since Joan's time with Sherlock is almost up, he offers her an apprenticeship, on ELEMENTARY, Thursday, Jan. 3 (10:01-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

He's back! Taproot Theatre welcomes Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol back to its stage, after a sold out run in 2010. Seattle playwright and author, John Longenbaugh's clever mash-up of two classics is a moving mystery worthy of becoming a new family holiday tradition. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Scott Nolte, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol opens on November 23 and runs through December 29 with a pay-what-you-can performance tomorrow night, November 21. Beijing Playhouse Academy of Performing Arts' presented a second production of Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles with Daystar Academy on August 11, 2012. Check out photos of the student actors on stage below!

Thirty students from Beijing Playhouse Academy of Performing Arts performed Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles. They put the show together in just two weeks. The native Chineses students performed in English in front of an audience of more than 100. This Friday will be a time of celebration as the world premiere of Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol by Seattle playwright John Longenbaugh finally premieres at Taproot Theatre. Postponed last year due to the October 23 arson, this world premiere features the original cast, joined by Stephen Grenley, and is directed by Taproot Producing Artistic Director Scott Nolte. A celebratory reception with the cast, crew, patrons and staff immediately follows the performance.

The play began performances March 27 and opens 28th continuing a run through April 24th.

Inspired by hilarious memories of a childhood etiquette class, playwright Jeffrey Hatcher conjures up the world of a seven-year-old studying manners from the title character.

Wayside Theatre Artistic Director Warner Crocker announced the mystery play of the season and performance schedule, Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure. The play runs through November 7th. The production is sponsored by WVPT - Virginia's Public Television.

North American Cultural Laboratory (www.NACL.org), Brad Krumholz and Tannis Kowalchuk, Co-Artistic Directors, will present the Manhattan premiere of 'THE UNCANNY APPEARANCE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES,' based on a story written by Mr. Krumholz and created by NACL in collaboration with the ensemble. Krumholz also directs. Performances begin on December 2 at HERE Arts Center (www.here.org), 145 Sixth Avenue (between Spring and Broome Streets, enter on Dominick Street), and the show will officially open on Thursday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. Performances will run through Sunday, December 21.
