Audible.com today announced that its two production arms, Audible Studios and the Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX), received a combined 26 nominations for the 2017 Audie Awards, which honor outstanding audiobooks and other spoken-word performances. Palm Beach Opera presents Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto for one weekend only, March 10-12, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. One of the most popular operas in the repertoire, Rigoletto is "a must-see masterpiece" of passion and vengeance, filled with some of opera's most famous arias, such as "La donna e mobile," and "Questa o quella."

Lyric Opera of Kansas City continues its 59th season with the powerful modern classic, Dead Man Walking, music by Jake Heggie and libretto by Terrence McNally, and based on the novel by Sister Helen Prejean, with performances March 4, 8, 10 and 12 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The production will be sung in English with English titles.
