There's a new demon barber in town... The Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street recently welcomed Hugh Panaro as its new leading man.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will welcome Hugh Panaro (as Sweeney Todd) with Jake Boyd (as Anthony), Eryn LeCroy (as Johanna), Michael James Leslie (as Judge Turpin) and John Rapson (as The Beadle) will join the cast including Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (as Mrs. Lovett), Stacie Bono (as Pirelli & Beggar Woman) and John-Michael Lyles (as Tobias) this week at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Former White House executive pastry chef Bill Yosses has served sweet desserts to two presidents. Now, he makes pies that are filled with 'human flesh.' Yosses' pies play right along with the theme of the musical, which tells the tale of bloodthirsty barber Sweeney Todd, who chops up unsuspecting customers in a heinous act of revenge.

Producers of the Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street are pleased to announce that Hugh Panaro (as Sweeney Todd) with Jake Boyd (as Anthony), Eryn LeCroy (as Johanna), Michael James Leslie (as Judge Turpin) and John Rapson (as The Beadle) will join the cast.

We've always known that Matt Doyle was one of the most talented performers in on the musical theatre stage, but with the spring 2016 release of 'Dents,' a web-based comic book which he created with his life-long best friend Beth Behrs (TWO BROKE GIRLS, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY UNIT...), the public was exposed to a new, more nerdy, side of the actor.

Today, June 27th, the Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will perform on the morning show.

The new Off-Broadway production of SWEENEY TODD just got a whole lot meatier.  No, the chef hasn't been adding more filling to the tasty meat pies audience members can enjoy before the performance.  The new reason for checking into the Barrow Street Theater is a chance to see two top shelf singer/actors, Norm Lewis and Carolee Carmello, transform a production that opened in March as an amusing Grand Guignol melodrama into a deeply moving and gorgeously sung evening of thrilling musical theatre.

BWW has learned that on Tuesday, June 27th, the Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will perform on the morning show.
