Legendary comedian Martin Short stopped by this week's THE DAILY SHOW on Comedy Central to express his amazement at Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime performance and discusses his memoir, 'I Must Say' as well as his starring role in Broadway's IT'S ONLY A PLAY.

IT'S ONLY A PLAY's Martin Short joined the hosts of ABC's THE VIEW yesterday to discuss taking over the lead role from Nathan Lane in the hit Broadway play.

The League of Professional Theatre Women has announed that tonight's Oral History interview with Tony-Award winning actress, STOCKARD CHANNING and arts journalist PATRICK PACHECO has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

According to Telecharge.com, Martin Short will only be continuing with the production through the original closing date of March 29th. He is also out of the show on Sunday, February 15. We'll have to see who steps up as Short's replacement come spring!

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that the smash hit Broadway comedy It's Only a Play, which opened on Broadway on October 9, 2014, has extended its run through Sunday, June 7, 2015. Originally announced as a limited engagement through January 4th, It's Only a Play was recently extended through March 29th at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street), where it will now play through June 7th. Tickets are now on sale for all performances.
