The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has broken the house record of Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre for the 18th time. The show earned $1,337,952.07 in the 1,068-seat O'Neill, one of Broadway's smallest theatres, for the week ending Sunday, October 9, 2011. Songwriter Robert Lopez won the Tony Award in 2004 for his AVENUE Q score. Now, he's written the score to another Broadway hit - The Book of Mormon. Lopez recently sat down at the piano in the Soundcheck studio to talk about the musical collaboration with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
