Morrow.  Hodges Persley draws season inspiration from an eclectic array of sources from historic social and arts movements to #Black Lives Matter and African American music genres.

Sacred Circle Theatre Company, the queer/feminist theatre company based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, announced its 2018 main-stage production: new stagings of Dutchman by Amiri Baraka and Stop Kiss by Diana Son presented in one evening as a double-bill.

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present Theatre of War's experimental reconstruction of Amiri Baraka's (Flying) Dutchman, directed by Christopher Stevenson at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) February 9-24. Performances will be Friday, February 9 at 7pm, Saturday, February 10 at 7pm, Thursday, February 15 at 7pm, Friday, February 16 at 7pm, Saturday, February 16 at 7pm, Wednesday, February 21 at 7pm, Thursday, February 22 at 7pm, Friday, February 23 at 7pm, and Saturday, February 24 at 7pm. Tickets ($25/$15 students & seniors) are available for advance purchase at www.thetanknyc.org. The performance will run approximately 45 minutes, with no intermission.

Music Director Designate Jaap van Zweden will conduct the New York Philharmonic in a program pairing the New York Premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner John Luther Adams's Dark Waves with Act I of Wagner's Die Walk re (in concert), with soprano Heidi Melton as Sieglinde, tenor Simon O'Neill as Siegmund (in his New York Philharmonic debut), and bass John Relyea as Hunding.
