Little Steven, aka Steven Van Zandt, is commemorating today's 30th anniversary of Nelson Mandela's historic release from a South African prison after 27 years in captivity with the announcement that his 1985 landmark protest album, Sun City, by Artists United Against Apartheid, the extraordinary supergroup brought together by Van Zandt, producer Arthur Baker and journalist Danny Schechter to fight racial injustice in South Africa, will be released on vinyl for the first time since its initial release 35 years ago. The long-out-of-print LP joins five additional classic albums from Van Zandt making all of Little Steven's records from his early career once again available on vinyl.

Inspired by the real junk bond giants of the 1980s, Akhtar explores how the riveting, hostile takeover of a family-owned manufacturing company paved the way to expose the rise of greed, power, race and wealth that led to reshaping the rules of Wall Street and the world. Directed by Jackie Maxwell, Junk runs April 5 - May 5, 2019 in the Fichandler Stage.

David Grier is pleased to announce his newfull-length album, Ways Of The World, due for release on March 29, 2019. Hosted on Grier's label, Dreadnought Recordings, and co-produced with Brent Truitt (The SteelDrivers), the project unveils ten original songs penned by Grier as well as two century-old fiddle tunes that are revived with a new twist. This is also the first album to feature Grier on lead vocals. This holiday season, Artists Repertory Theatre presents Joe Landry's It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, directed by Beth Harper. The limited engagement of It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is from December 6 through December 30 at Northwest Children's Theater and School.
