Schmigadoon has found its leading players! Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice) and Sara Chase (The Great Gatsby) will reprise their roles of Josh Skinner and Melissa Gimble in the Broadway production of Schmigadoon! Brightman and Chase originated the roles in The Kennedy Center production earlier this year.

Broadway will welcome Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle in the first-ever New York revival of Proof, David Auburn’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama. Directed by Thomas Kail (Hamilton), the production begins previews March 31, 2026, at a Shubert Theatre to be announced. This strictly limited engagement marks the Broadway debuts of both Edebiri and Cheadle.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show will come to life at Kings Theatre on Halloween this year as part of its 49th Anniversary Spectacular Tour. Actor Barry Bostwick will host this live interactive musical comedy experience. This stop on the tour is one of over 40 stops in cities across the country where the cult classic will be brought back to life as The Shadow Cast hilariously acts out the movie on stage while the movie plays on screen.

Barbra Streisand will be honored with the SAG Life Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment in 2024. The SAG Life Achievement Award will join Streisand's numerous accolades, including being an EGOT winner. The Carbonell Awards adds four new judges to its panel, bringing the total number to 42. These judges will evaluate productions at professional theaters across South Florida.

Marty Krofft, the King of Saturday Mornings, has passed away at the age of 86. Alongside his brother Sid, he created iconic children's TV shows and primetime hits that entertained multiple generations. His legacy will live on through the recently announced 'World of Sid & Marty Krofft Channel.'

The Azrieli Foundation and Analekta have released New Jewish Music, Vol. 4 - Azrieli Music Prizes. This album features the world premiere recordings of prize-winning works by the 2022 Azrieli Music Prizes Laureates, performed by the Orchestre Métropolitain under the direction of Artistic Partner Nicolas Ellis.
