Shane Peterman, Producing Artistic Director, today announced details of the Company's 2019-2020 Season.  This season marks the 24th for WaterTower Theatre, and the first full season programmed by Producing Artistic Director Shane Peterman.  The 5-show subscription season includes Jason Robert Brown's Tony Award-winning musical adaptation, The Bridges of Madison County, Doug Wright's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, I Am My Own Wife, a holiday celebration co-produced with Lone State Circus, Cirque Holidays, and a host of exciting additional programming.

"This may be the first time in our 33 years," stated Human Race Artistic Director and Founding Member Kevin Moore, "that we selected a season theme before we selected our shows." And for good reason. The 2019-20 Human Race Theatre season at the Loft Theatre coincides with the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, the first step in all women having the right to vote and the catalyst for our movements for Equality.

Broadway Palm is proud to announce its 27th Season which includes eight main stage productions, five productions in The Off Broadway Palm, four Children's Theatre productions (TBA) and five concerts. Individual tickets go on sale June 1st.

She not only fights for her own dreams, but forces the prince to open his eyes to the world around him and realize his dreams too.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE the multiple Tony Award-winning theatre dedicated to the production of new plays and bold interpretations of classic works, has announced its 2019-20 Season.

RICKIE LEE JONES is that rare musician who has transcended the singer/songwriter mantle by incorporating different radio genres from the get-go and she continues that tradition on the forthcoming album KICKS, her newest collection of songs from the great American songbook. Due out June 7, the album spans two decades (50s-70s) of pop, rock and jazz, presenting her unique and sophisticated interpretations of these songs.

Trinity Repertory Company announced today that three area residents will be honored at its 2019 Pell Awards Gala on Monday, June 3, 2019 in Providence. Storyteller Valerie Tutson will receive the Rhode Island Pell Award for Excellence in the Arts. Central Falls High School teacher Deloris Davis Grant will receive the Charles Sullivan Award for Distinguished Service in the Arts. The Pell Award for Outstanding Leadership in the Arts will go to Rosanne Somerson, President of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Additional honorees will be announced at a later date.

The Frist Art Museum Presents DOROTHEA LANGE: POLITICS OF SEEING, an exhibition that examines a broad range of the artist's work through the lens of social and political activism. The Frist is the only U.S. venue that is hosting this exhibition after its 2017 debut in California. In addition to presenting Lange's iconic photographs from the Great Depression, the exhibition will feature works from her early years as a studio portraitist in San Francisco, along with images of the grim conditions of incarcerated Japanese Americans during World War II, naval shipyard workers of different sexes and races contributing to the patriotic cause, and inequity in our judicial system in the 1950s. Organized by the Oakland Museum of California, which houses Lange's personal archive, the exhibition will be on view in the Frist's Upper-Level Galleries from March 15 through May 27, 2019.

The 31st Annual Colleagues Spring Luncheon and Oscar de la Renta will present award-winning actress Marlo Thomas with The Colleagues Champion of Children Award, which honors those who have made a lasting impact on the lives of children.

The Orleans Hotel and Casino will bring celebrated entertainment to The Orleans Showroom in April, including the musical "Up, Up and Away" Starring Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. and Legendary Ladies of Motown Starring Martha Reeves and Mary Wilson. Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend will also return to The Orleans on Thursday, April 18 through Sunday, April 21. Barbican Cinema is delighted to announce Poetry In Motion: Contemporary Iranian Cinema, which takes place between 3-24 April and showcases some of the country's most inventive filmmakers.

The University of Virginia is bringing to its campus and surrounding Charlottesville community the awe-inspiring and healing production of Healing Through the Sound of Music's multi-award winning 60-minute One-Woman Stage Play, 'The Fannie Lou Hamer Story, 'Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired,'' by dynamic performer Mzuri Moyo Aimbaye.  Charlottesville is the first stop of Aimbaye's 2019 National Tour Commemorating Women of Civil Rights and Social Justice. The performance will be open to the public at Old Cabell Hall Auditorium, McIntire Department of Music on January 26 at 7:00 p.m.
