Michael Harrison and David Ian announced today rescheduled dates for the world premiere of MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING THE MUSICAL. Starring Alexandra Burke as Julianne Potter, the show will open at the Manchester Palace Theatre on 20 September 2021 ahead of a UK and Ireland tour.

Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre presents Bullets Over Broadway The Musical, the Tony Award-nominated musical based on Woody Allen and Douglas McGrath's screenplay for the hit film Bullets over Broadway. A love letter to the golden age of Broadway, Bullets Over Broadway The Musical brings the classic musical comedy back with a bang. Loaded with the songs that made the 1920s roar, this splashy musical features Jazz Age standards including 'Let's Misbehave,' ''Tain't Nobody's Biz-ness If I Do,' "Tiger Rag," and 'Up a Lazy River.' In this madcap comedy, a young playwright finally gets his play produced on Broadway, but discovers there's a catch: the mobster putting up the funds wants a vehicle for his ditzy, talent-free girlfriend. Throw in an aging diva, dancing gangsters, and a bevy of beautiful chorus girls, and comedic capers ensue. Broadway In Chicago has announced its 2018 season line-up set to feature two new Pre-Broadway musicals: PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, based on the beloved Garry Marshall film, and THE CHER SHOW based on the life of the legendary Cher.

In honor of the announcement of a new Cher musical, on this Thursday we're throwing back to CHER... SPECIAL - which was recorded in California for ABC and was ranked was ranked among the Top 10 most-watched programs of the week it aired.

The Broadway-bound musical THE CHER SHOW, which celebrates the life and music of global superstar Cher, will premiere next June at Chicago's Oriental Theatre. The five-week pre-Broadway engagement will be from June 12 to July 15. The show will then arrive at Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre in the fall of 2018

A new musical featuring the songs of legendary pop singer Tom Jones is now in the works. According to the New York Post's Michael Riedel, a staged reading of the project, titled WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?, was recently directed by Scott Ellis (SHE LOVES ME) in London a few weeks ago.
