Skylight Music Theatre today announced members of the creative team and cast for Skylight's holiday show, Hairspray, running November 16 through December 23, 2018. This family-favorite Broadway musical will be presented in the beautiful Cabot Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway, in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) announced today that A.C.T.'s Education & Community Programs, Young Conservatory (YC), and Destiny Arts Center will present the world premiere of A Place to Belong (formerly titled SeaChange)-a new play from playwright Marisela Treviño Orta and this year's Collaborative Youth Arts Project co-produced with Destiny Arts Center and A.C.T.'s Education & Community Programs. In addition, A.C.T.'s Young Conservatory will present the Tony Award-winning satirical musical Urinetown: The Musical.

The cast is announced today for the European premiere of Jordan Seavey's Homos, or Everyone in America at the Finborough Theatre. Josh Seymour directs Tyrone Huntley (The Academic), Harry McEntire (The Writer), Dan Krikler (Dan) and Cash Holland (Laila). The production opens for a four-week limited season on Thursday, 9 August 2018, with previews from 7 August, playing until 1 September.

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 10th at 8/9c hosted by Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles. After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. Opera Saratoga's Artistic and General Director Lawrence Edelson announced the complete casting and programming for the company's 2018 Summer Festival, which will feature new productions of four operas at The Spa Little Theater in Spa State Park, along with a wide variety of free and ticketed concert events from May 26th through July 15th at venues throughout the region.
