Trinity Rep Closes Out Season with RAGTIME

Trinity Rep closes out its 2017-18 Season with the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, which was written by Terrence McNally (book), Stephen Flaherty (music), and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Under the direction of Artistic Director Curt Columbus, Trinity Rep's production examines how the musical, which is set in 1906, reflects the country's current political and social climate. Based on the celebrated 1975 novel of the same name by E.L. Doctorow, the musical tackles race, women's rights, immigration, and workers' rights.

Producers Darlene Kaplan, Laura Janik Cronin and Scott Newsome, in association with Alec Seymour, present the Off-Broadway premiere of The Stone Witch, a play by Shem Bitterman (A Death in Colombia, Influence).  Performances begin Monday, March 12, 2018 for an open-ended engagement atThe Westside Theatre - Upstairs (407 West 43rd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).  Opening Night is Sunday evening, March 25, 2018 at 6:30PM.

Lantern Theater Company Presents THE TEMPEST By William Shakespeare

Lantern Theater Company continues its record-smashing 24th season with The Tempest by William Shakespeare. Lantern Artistic Director Charles McMahon will direct a cast that includes some of Philadelphia's finest actors: Chris Anthony, Peter DeLaurier, J Hernandez, Dave Johnson, John Lopes, Bi Jean Ngo, Ruby Wolf, and Frank X. Performances run Thursday, March 15 through Sunday, April 29, 2018; a full schedule is included in the fact sheet below. MOONLIGHT Star Andre Holland Makes Directing Debut With DUTCH MASTERS

Hunter's A Bright New Boise, Robert O'Hara's Booty Candy, Thomas Bradshaw's The Bereaved) will present the New York Premiere of DUTCH MASTERS by Greg Keller (Wit with Cynthia Nixon, Michael Mayer's Uncle Vanya on Broadway). Directed by Andre Holland (Academy Award-winner Moonlight, Jitney on Broadway), previews begin April 4 at The Wild Project with opening night slated for Thursday, April 12.

West End's THE FERRYMAN Will Transfer to Broadway This Fall
