Steely Dan announced today that the band will return to The Beacon Theatre stage for a nine-night residency of themed performances starting October 17, 2018.  The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers staged complete performances of several of their beloved classic albums from start to finish at The Beacon in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2016. Included among the highlights of this year's extraordinary concerts are: performances of Steely Dan's Countdown to Ecstasy (1973), The Royal Scam (1976), Aja (1977), Gaucho (1980), plusDonald Fagen's solo album The Nightfly (1982), plus “By Popular Demand” and “Greatest Hits” nights. Each and every night, Steely Dan will also treat audiences with selections from The Dan's extraordinary catalog, packed with infectious tunes, bodacious harmonies, irresistible grooves, blazing solo work, rich ensembles and sleek, subversive lyrics – see dates below.

C. Mondavi & Family today announced that the next generation of the Mondavi family is now officially more involved in the family's business, including the CK Mondavi and Family brand. As part of the announcement, C. Mondavi & Family revealed that members of the fourth generation, or 'G4' as they are called, are now shareholders in the company. They also serve as official brand ambassadors and two members have been appointed to the board of directors. Fourth generation family members include Alycia Mondavi, Angelina Mondavi, Giovanna Mondavi, Lia Mondavi, Lucio Mondavi, and Riana Mondavi.

The National Tour of the 2016 Tony Award-winning play THE HUMANS makes its Boston debut at the Boch Center Shubert Theatre. The Second City announces the extension of The Second City's She the People: Girlfriends' Guide to Sisters Doing It for Themselves, a show the Chicago Tribune calls "empowering entertainment" and the Sun-Times raves is "one of the funniest revues Second City has produced in the past 20 years." A sketch show created, designed and performed entirely by the women of Second City, She the People features the talents of Carisa Barreca, Alex Bellisle, Katie Caussin and Kimberly Michelle Vaughn in addition to newcomers Emma Pope and Kaye Winks. The original producers of Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller, Broadway's longest running musical revue, announced today that the show will return to New York this summer following a limited engagement at Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse. Preview performances will begin at New York's Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street) on July 6 and opening night is set for July 22. The Centerpiece Gala will be the World Premiere of Drake Doremus' sci-fi romance Zoe starring Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Rashida Jones, and Theo James. Brooklyn based honky-tonk band, Bourbon Express, announces the release of their latest studio-album, Cry About It Later, produced by Eric 'Roscoe' Ambel (Steve Earle, Joan Jett), on April 20, 2018. Today, The Daily Country premieres 'Pick Me Up', the first single from the album. 'Pick Me Up' is an autobiographical song written from the point of view of a newly wedded woman who's so depressed about being broke in the wake of her honeymoon that she wishes there was some kind of buzz she could get that would last until payday. The Lyric Hammersmith and Filter's critically acclaimed production of A Midsummer Night's Dream today announces the casting for the UK tour, which opens at the Lyric Hammersmith on Friday 13 April 2018. The cast and band includes Allyson Ava-Brown, George Fouracres, Daniel Fraser, David Ganly, Harry Jardine, Matt King Smith, Amy Marchant, Kayla Meikle, Alan Pagan, Michael Palmer and Dharmesh Patel.
