Carnegie Hall today announced that British conductor Daniel Harding will return to Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage to lead Amsterdam's renowned Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in two back-to-back concerts in February, as part of the orchestra's spring 2019 US tour. Maestro Harding, who last appeared at Carnegie Hall in 2008, replaces Daniele Gatti for these February performances.

The world-renowned Emerson String Quartet celebrates the 80th birthday of American composer and pianist, winner of the National Medal of Arts, Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award, William Bolcom at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 5 PM.  Joined by the acclaimed pianist Shai Wosner, the Quartet performs Bolcom's Piano Quintet No. 1.

Pianist Stephen Hough's Dream Album, which casts him in the role of performer, composer, and transcriber, is released by Hyperion Records on Friday, June 1. This recording is the seventh in a series of “Album” releases from Mr. Hough that began with The Piano Album in 1993 and continued most recently with the French Album in 2012. Like all of his Albums, Mr. Hough's Dream Album juxtaposes works by different composers, in this case 27 short pieces—mostly less than five minutes apiece—by over a dozen composers, including Liszt, Dvo?ák, and Sibelius. As if from a dream, this collection is a free association of musical thoughts that bear personal meaning for Mr. Hough—from favorite encores, to pieces from his childhood, to works written for friends. No wonder, the fable of the boy who refused to grow up, created by J. M. Berrie, is more and more current. This classic became a reference in literature, in the cinema and also in the theater. The Broadway version of 'Peter Pan' will finally win a Brazilian staging, with Mateus Ribeiro in the title role and Daniel Boaventura as Captain Hook. The show directed by Jose Possi Neto and choreographed by Alonso Barros, premiered on March 8, at Teatro Alfa, in a production of Touche Entertainment and coproduction of Daniel Boaventura.

Three hundred and fifty singers, dancers and musicians from the Hungarian State Opera will take over the David H. Koch Theater for two weeks when the Hungarian State Opera and Hungarian National Ballet make their U.S. debuts, October 30-November 11, in programs featuring a series of U.S. premieres and new productions. The announcement of the engagement was made by Szilveszter Ókovács, General Director of the Hungarian State Opera today (March 14) at the Hungarian Consulate in New York City.

Suffragette City, a partnership between the National Trust and The National Archives, will re - create the life of a Suffragette activist in the years before the partial grant of the vote to women in 1918. Inspired by records held by The National Archives, Suffragette City documents the life and arrest of Lillian Ball, a dressmaker and mother from Tooting, arrested for smashing a window in 1912.

California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) continues its partnership with the Sierra Madre Playhouse as the school's Acting Conservatory students head back to the theater for "The Importance of Being Earnest," their third play of the school year (previously "The Yellow Boat" and "Elephant's Graveyard"). Together with a cast of students from grades nine through 11, the Victorian-inspired set and costuming takes the audience back to turn of the 19th century. This lighthearted play, written by Oscar Wilde, is a classic satirical dramedy that highlights the humor found in an unlikely, outrageous situation.

Diablo Ballet celebrates its 24th Anniversary with a special one-night only performance on March 22, 6:30pm at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. The program will feature selections from Swan Lake along with new ballets, company favorites and the World Premiere short film celebrating Diablo Ballet's Anniversary. "I am so very proud to be celebrating this special anniversary performance with the community and patrons that have kept us on our toes for the last 24 years," states Artistic Director, Lauren Jonas.
