Eagle Theatre has teamed up with Hammonton's latest hot spot, the newly minted, Kathedral Event Center, to present their latest World-Premiere musical revue, SEASON'S GREETINGS! AMUSICAL CELEBRATION OF HOLIDAY TRADITIONS FROM AROUND THE WORLD, running December 13th - December 23rd.

Babes With Blades Theatre Company (BWBTC) continues its 20th Anniversary Season: Origins with the Chicago premiere of The Good Fight, playing at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., January 6 February 17, 2018. Developed in 2011 through BWBTC's Fighting Words program under the title Deeds Not Words, the play is written by Anne Bertram, executive director of Theatre Unbound, a Minneapolis/St. Paul company devoted to work by and about women. Elizabeth Lovelady, a Jeff Award-winning artist based in Chicago, directs The Good Fight, which features combat by Violence Designer Gaby Labotka.

THE FANTASTICKS, takes it's final bow on December 10th. However, while this endearing, romantic family musical marks the official end of Eagle Theatre's 2017 Mainstage Season, it is not the last offering for patrons clamoring for more holiday fueled entertainment.

Eagle Theatre's THE FANTASTICKS hosts a cast full of arts education advocates. Paul Weagraff, a professional actor hailing from Wilmington, Delaware, has appeared in six Eagle Theatre productions. Currently starring in THE FANTASTICKS, his view on the importance of arts education spans far beyond the theatre itself. Weagraff states, As a former history teacher, integrating the arts into my classes engaged students that otherwise would have been marginalized, and infused energy and enthusiasm into topics that, to them, seemed distant and irrelevant.

In a unique collaboration with SACRA/PROFANA and San Diego Opera, Bodhi Tree Concerts presents the second annual performances of All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914, a stage depiction by Peter Rothstein with musical arrangements by Erick Lichte and Timothy C. Takach.

The Suffolk University Theatre Department welcomes guest-director, esteemed actor, Artistic Director of the Harbor Stage Company, and long-time colleague Robert Kropf to the Modern Theatre this fall. Kropf's adaptation of Anton Chekhov's 3Sisters will run November 16-19.

THE FANTASTICKS is an endearing, romantic family musical about a boy, a girl, two fathers and a wall. Loosely based on the play The Romancers (Les Romanesques) by Edmond Rostand, the musical follows two neighboring fathers who trick their children, Luisa and Matt, into falling in love by pretending to feud. Set in a world of moonlight and magic, this classic musical teaches us about life, love, and the lessons learned along the way. Written in 1960 by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, the show's original Off-Broadway production ran a total of 42 years and 17,162 performances, making it the world's longest-running musical.
