THE CENTER AT WEST PARK (CWP), the Upper West Side's cultural hub for diverse, engaging, and boundary-pushing performing arts, announces the lineup for The 2022 Evolution Festival, a multi-disciplinary performance festival featuring six original works-in-progress of theater, dance, and music by NYC-based artists.

Shakespeare’s Globe has announced the full cast for the 2022 Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank production of Macbeth, directed by Sarah Frankcom. This marks Sarah’s directorial return following her tenure as Artistic Director of LAMDA. 

Sarah Elizabeth Haines is a violist and violinist, she plays both instruments in the touring production of Tony award-winning Hamilton. Previously, she’s toured with Les Misérables and Kansas City Choir Boy (featuring Courtney Love) and been a co-bandleader of Americana-folk band Bellehouse and a member of orchestral rock band Emanuel and the Fear.

Wright State Theatre will present the regional premier of Annie Baker’s Obie-award winning play, Circle Mirror Transformation, from November 19-December 5th (no performances Thanksgiving Weekend). The play follows four lost New Englanders who enroll in Marty’s (played by Mady McCabe) six-week-long community-center drama class. 

Joining the previously announced Lee Mead as 'Kevin' will be Sherrie Hewson as 'Julia', Jessica Ellis as 'Kelly' and Les Dennis as 'Fergus'. Marc Akinfolarin also joins the cast as 'Alan' with Alex–May Roberts as 'Val'. Further casting to be announced soon.

Aurora Theatre Company kicks off its 30th season with Dael Orlandersmith's STOOP STORIES. Elizabeth Carter (Eureka Day, The Heir Apparent, Wittenberg, Trouble In Mind) directs Jeunée Simon (The Bluest Eye) in this poetic one-hander comprised of stories drawn from Orlandersmith's personal life and limitless imagination.
