The 2015-16 season begins with a Siamese cat's imaginative excursion to Mexico, and ends with a boy's magical encounter with a giant. Six of the presentations are based directly upon children's literature. The season runs from October 13, 2015 through June 24, 2016. All productions will be presented on the H&R Block City Stage, located on level B in Union Station Kansas City. Union Station is located at 30 West Pershing Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2015 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and beloved films. The 2015 series will run today, June 5-August 9 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) and will feature 29 films over nine weeks (no films scheduled for the week of the Fourth of July).

Today, June 2, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) will release The John Wayne Westerns Film Collection - featuring five classic films on Digital HD and Blu-ray from the larger-than-life American hero - just in time for Father's Day.

New Yiddish Rep presents two one-act plays by the fascinating English-born polyglot Wolf Mankowitz -- both of which were also made into noteworthy British films -- "The Irish Hebrew Lesson," and the world premiere in Yiddish of "The Bespoke Overcoat."  A theatrical feast in three languages, New Yiddish Rep's Mankowitz double bill, entitled "2 by Wolf," runs from June 11 to July 2 at the cell, 338 West 23rd Street.  Moshe Yassur, the internationally acclaimed director of New Yiddish Rep's groundbreaking "Waiting for Godot" in Yiddish, will direct.
