Jack Sain directs Julie Atherton (Jo), Harry F Brown (Toby), Georgina Hellier (The Green Fairy), Emma Kinney (Wendy), David Perkins (Daniel) and Emma Whittaker (Young Jo). The Green Fairy opens at the Union Theatre on 4 November, with previews from 30 October, and runs until 23 November.

After sold out shows in April 2018 and May 2017, lyricist Robert Gould will return to the Union Theatre at 7.30pm on October 21 with A LONELY VOICE, a concert of songs with his lyrics performed by a cast of West End and Off-West End musical theatre performers (from the casts of shows such as Tina The Musical, Little Shop Of Horrors and Wicked). The concert will feature a showcase of songs from "Cleopatra", a brand new musical-in-development by Robert Gould and Lyndon Samuel, as well as an eclectic mix of musical theatre, indie pop and folk/rock numbers with music penned by composers from the UK, USA, Sweden, Israel and the Netherlands, including Tristan Bons, Alex James Ellison, Alexander Engstrom, Dean Heller, Ty Kroll, Omri Lahav, Ben Messenger, Christopher J. St. Luke's United Methodist Church (St. Luke's UMC) welcomes award-winning and world-renowned British composer Howard Goodall again this year as he conducts the world premiere of his Christmas Cantata. This seven-movement work was specially created by the composer for the choirs of St. Luke's UMC as part of the church's 2019 Christmas Festival. This piece is written for soprano solo, children's choir, SATB (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) choir, organ, and chamber orchestra and will be performed in its entirety throughout each of the three services in the sanctuary on December 15. The Christmas Festival is made possible by the generosity of St. Luke's Friends of Music.

Wales Millennium Centre and Wiltshire Creative have today announced casting for the first ever UK stage adaptation of Agatha Christie's much-loved Miss Marple thriller The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side. Colin R Campbell, Suzanna Hamilton, Julia Hills, Katherine Manners, Katie Matsell, Davina Moon, Huw Parmenter and Gillian Saker will join the previously announced Susie Blake and Simon Shepherd. The Mirror Crack'd will be a European Premiere, opening at Salisbury Playhouse on 15 February before touring to Dublin, Cambridge and Cardiff. The Mirror Crack'd will have an Opening Night on 25 February.

World-renowned composer and Beatles expert Howard Goodall comes to Houston for his first Beatles presentation in the United States, where he will share his insights into the creative genius of the Fab Four. Gow Media and St. Luke's United Methodist Church Friends of Music have collaborated to create this extraordinary event, which takes place Dec. 16 at the beautiful George Theater, home of Houston's A.D. A concert version of the brand new musical 'Cleopatra' will be staged at the Actors' Church in Covent Garden on Saturday May 11 as part of Iris Theatre Company's WorkIn Progress season, co-produced by Cr8tract productions. Epic in scale and intimate in its emotional intensity and with a soaring and lavish score, 'Cleopatra' The Musical focuses on the character of the infamous Queen of ancient Egypt and the conflict between her desire for power and her need to be loved as well as on the dramatic political and war-torn background of the times and the tragedy of the two men (Julius Caesar and Mark Antony) who were doomed by their love for her.

The acclaimed male vocal group The Flyboys will make their Edinburgh Fringe debut this year when they perform their fusion act of vintage and modern music in four part harmony nightly at the Gilded Balloon's Rose Theatre (Main Theatre) from August 1 to August 24 at 10.30pm. The Flyboys brand of swing re-imagined has been described as "if Sinatra formed a band with Bruno Mars" or "a night where Pharrell Williams croons with Judy Garland, Ricky Martin scats with Cab Calloway and Maroon 5 groove with Ella Fitzgerald."

Marisha Wallace will play Becky alongside Laura Baldwin as Dawn, with Peter Hannah as Earl and David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter. The four new principals will join the previously announced Katharine McPhee who will make her West End debut starring as Jenna, having played the role on Broadway earlier this year.

Waitress the musical will welcome Evelyn Hoskins (Assassins, Spring Awakening) to the role of Dawn in the New Year while original London cast member Marisha Wallace (Dreamgirls, Aladdin) is also announced to return to the West End production. Evelyn Hoskins will join the smash hit musical comedy on 25 January following Hannah Tointon's final performance, and Marisha Wallace will resume the role of Becky on 6 January following Sandra Marvin's final performance. Monique Ashe-Palmer will also join in the ensemble from 9 January, taking on the role from Cindy Belliot.
