Legendary American band Styx Announce Exclusive UK Show for June 2019.

Styx bring their only UK show in 2019 to the prestigious London Palladium on the 4th June for 'An Evening Of Styx.' They will perform music to celebrate their hugely successful 47-year career, including tracks from their most recent studio album The Mission. The band have been a staple of 'Rock radio' playlists throughout this time, with songs including Crystal Ball, Come Sail Away, Lorelei, Blue Collar Man, Renegade, The Grand Illusion, Too Much Time On My Hands and Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man).

In January 2019, Japan Society's Contemporary Dance Festival: Japan + East Asia brings groundbreaking artists from the other side of the globe to New York audiences, in two performances only: Friday, January 4 and Saturday, January 5 at 7:30pm.  Presented as part of Japan Society's 2018-2019 Performing Arts Season, the Contemporary Dance Festival, in the tradition of its forerunner, the Contemporary Dance Showcase, which over the course of two decades enjoyed 17 action-packed installments, celebrates defining artists of the present moment – this year featuring three revelatory and robust works from Japan, Taiwan and Korea, in a highly selective program assembled by the Society's Artistic Director Yoko Shioya.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents How to Write a Musical That Works, part 1: The World and The Want, the first workshop in a 3-part series. One of the programs in TRU Beginnings: Opportunities for Early Development of New Work, it will take placeon Sunday, December 9, 2018.

Joni Mitchell, master songsmith and storyteller, eight-time Grammy winner and folk music pioneer is the inspiration for  JONI, Morrison Hotel Gallery's upcoming photography exhibit and sale opening on Friday, November 16th   at the Sunset Marquis Hotel location in Los Angeles, the New York City gallery on Prince Street in SoHo and the gallery in Maui at Mick Fleetwood's General Store and restaurant. The exhibit will be up through December 10th.

With their 13th album ANCIENT LAND out now, multi-platinum international music sensation CELTIC WOMAN will wrap up 2018 with a PBS special and their annual holiday tour in support of the new release. They'll continue into the new year with a full North American tour set for 2019 (dates below). ANCIENT LAND entered the Billboard World Albums Chart at #6, making CELTIC WOMAN the only European act in the Top Ten of this chart (eight are from Asia, with the remaining group from Australia).

IRON MAIDEN will bring the Legacy Of The Beast Tour to North America in 2019 for an extensive series of arena and amphitheater shows produced by Live Nation, including a first ever headline appearance at the Banc of California Stadium in LA. The tour will cover a total of 33 cities right across the U.S.A. and Canada, including Portland, Oregon where they haven't played since 1987 on the Somewhere In Time Tour, Hartford, Connecticut where they last played in 2005, and many other places not visited since the Maiden England 2012/13 Tour. Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

The December events presented by Great Music at St. Bart's are among New Yorkers' favorite holiday traditions: seasonal music in the beautiful spaces of St. Bartholomew's Church. A Joyous Christmas Concert (December 11) offers choral, orchestral, and organ music of the season along with a Christmas carol sing-in; Adoration of the Magi (December 14) is an intimate visual and musical celebration of the holidays in the St. Bart's Chapel; and A Concert To Usher In the New Year( December 31), a holiday gift to the city, is a late evening organ concert and post-concert toast, that is free to the public (details below).

The Society for the Preservation of Music Hall (SPMH) will 'Wake the Dead' on October 31 from 9:00 PM to midnight at one of the country's most historic and haunted places - Cincinnati Music Hall. SPMH's inaugural Halloween Bash will delight adult audiences with spine-tingling tunes - played in Music Hall's Grand Ballroom on The Mighty Wurlitzer theatre organ by master organist, Trent Sims. Cincinnati's legendary bartender, Molly Wellmann, will be mixing up spooktacular drinks for guests and ghouls alike. 

What about the story keeps audiences coming back again and again to see The Phantom of the Opera? Is it the lushly romantic score composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber? Or could it be the costumes and scenery, so widely seen across the globe - and so easily identifiable as being from The Phantom - that they are considered iconic? This year, Telemundo's Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs) will celebrate the contributions of Latinas in music. The three-hour special will present a series of vignettes that will feature singers who have paved the way for new generations. Through key performances of the evening, the show will also focus on those artists who are reaching new heights and creating an impact in today's music world not just by themselves but through innovative collaborations. In addition, in an unprecedented move, the entire show will be hosted by a formidable group of women, as Aracely Arambula, Becky G, Gloria Trevi, Leslie Grace and Roselyn Sanchez take center stage as the official emcees of the coveted awards show that will broadcast live on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 8pm/7c, preceded by the one-hour carpet pre-show 'La Alfombra de Latin AMAs' at 7pm/6c. The show will also air simultaneously on Spanish-language entertainment cable network, Universo and in 20 countries throughout the Americas via Telemundo Internacional. Charlie Stemp will return to the London Palladium to play The Prince in this year's Pantomime, Snow White at the London Palladium along with Danielle Hope who will play the title role of Snow White. They join the previously announced Dawn French as The Wicked Queen, Julian Clary as The Man in The Mirror, Paul Zerdin as Muddles, Nigel Havers as The Understudy, Gary Wilmot as Mrs Crumble with Vincent and Flavia as The King and The Queen for this strictly limited 5 week run.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts launches its 2018-2019 Chamber Series with the acclaimed Escher String Quartet on November 1, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. in Samueli Theater. Since its founding in 2005, the quartet has quickly garnered the reputation as one of the finest young string ensembles performing today. Their instrumental interplay, which combines technical precision with warmth and vitality, has reaped accolades nationally and abroad, and elicited invitations from Itzhak Perlman and Pinchas Zukerman to be the quartet-in-residence at their respective summer festivals. In a review, The Strad wrote, "…a level of individual technical precision and a collective musical purpose that is endlessly compelling … Sheer brilliance." Quartet members include Adam Barnett-Hart and Danbi Um, violins; Pierre Lapointe, viola; and Brook Speltz, cello.

Nicolas Talar for Enzo Products Ltd and Adam Blanshay Productions are pleased to announce the principal casting for Notre Dame de Paris. Twenty years after its Parisian debut, and after receiving international acclaim in 23 countries worldwide, the French musical is set to be performed at London Coliseum. The original French production in London will be performed with English surtitles and a live orchestra from Wednesday 23 - Sunday 27 January 2019, with a national press night on Wednesday 23 January 2019 at 7pm.
