At an annual meeting held on July 26, the Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), the national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, welcomed five new members to its Board of Trustees and reelected Tony Award-winning actor Brian Stokes Mitchell as Chair, his nineteenth term of serving in this role.

Award-winning Broadway playwright Theresa Rebeck will write the book for the Broadway-aimed Working Girl. While she's had more plays produced on Broadway than any female playwright of our time, Working Girl would mark Rebeck's Broadway debut as a book writer for a musical.

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for the first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Rounding out the company are Shirine Babb, Charles Browning, Peter Jay Fernandez, Sharina Martin, Warner Miller, Doron JePaul Mitchell and Kim Sullivan.

wild project will present F*ck7thGrade, music, lyrics, and concept by Jill Sobule, book by Liza Birkenmeier and directed by Lisa Peterson with music direction by Julie Wolf. F*ck7thGrade begins performances on Wednesday, October 12 for a limited engagement through Saturday, November 5.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023.
