The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by the electrifying true story, rocks the Warner Theatre today, September 19 at 8 pm. On December 4, 1956, an auspicious twist of fate brought together Johnny Cash (Peter Oyloe), Jerry Lee Lewis (Taylor Gray), Carl Perkins (Austin Hohnke) and Elvis Presley (Daniel Durston). Sam Phillips (Andy Ingalls), the undisputed "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" gathered these four legends for the first and only time at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions ever.

Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum presents the first-ever revival of a historical melodrama about the Haitian revolution that graced the stage at New York's Lafayette Theatre in Harlem in 1938 as part of the Federal Theatre Project. Haiti by William DuBois will join Theatricum's summer repertory season beginning July 28. Performances will continue at Theatricum's beautiful outdoor venue in Topanga through Sept. 29.

Sarasota Opera's Da Capo Society, the only young patrons group, ages 21 - 45, dedicated to a single arts organization in Sarasota, will host The Wizard of Oz themed costume contest Thursday, June 7th at 6pm to celebrate the launch of the new season of "Classic Movies at the Opera House." Launched in 2017, the "Classic Movies at the Opera House" series will occur twice monthly starting Thursday, June 7 and will include timeless films designed to be enjoyed on the big screen in the elegance of the Opera House. Each presentation will begin at 7:30pm.
