Classic American Tales will perform at three Cape May venues — The Dormer House, the Cape May Public Library, and the Cape May Point Arts and Science Center — featuring works by notable American authors read by a rotating cast of performers.

Bright Star is a Bluegrass/Folk musical written and composed by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Its tale is set in the vast landscape of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains between the years 1945-46, and features flashbacks to the year 1923.
