Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the company of the third production of the 2018/19 Children's Season, Pinocchio, opening Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Children's Theatre at Willow Lawn. This play tells the classic tale of Geppetto's little wooden puppet whose only wish is to be a real boy.

St. Peter's Foot, is an UP Theater production, written by award-winning playwright Anna Theresa Cascio, 2019 Writers Guild Awards recipient, and opens on March 20 - April 6, as part of UP theater's 2019 season.

Writers in Performance is a 12-week writing and performance workshop hosted by BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, culminating in two public presentations.  Throughout the course of the workshop, talented actors, playwrights, poets and storytellers have explored writing exercises, theater games, improvisation, movement techniques, and ensemble work in a safe, creative environment.

Macy Medford and Arden Guice may only be college students, but their performances as Violet and Daisy Hilton, the heroines of Side Show - the iconic musical by Bill Russell, Henry Krieger and Bill Condon that debuted on Broadway some 20 years ago - in Belmont University Musical Theatre's production that runs for just one weekend, are nothing less than a professional triumph for each young woman.  Audiences are thoroughly enjoying themselves at Bucks County Playhouse's production of Broadway's hilarious romantic comedy "I Hate Hamlet." The production, which runs through December 1 and was hailed by The New York Times as "Unapologetically silly…hilarious!" is directed by Marc Bruni ("Beautiful: The Carol King Musical").

This week finds Jeremy Benton - Broadway's favorite tap-dancing man - in Paducah, Kentucky, with the rest of the cast and crew of Irving Berlin's White Christmas, preparing for tonight's opening performance of the quintessential holiday season musical. He's spent so many holiday seasons performing in White Christmas, in fact (he joined the show back in 2005 and has been a part of the company off and on ever since) that it's become second nature to him now.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T) announces that Tony Award winner Patina Miller will appear November 16, 17, and 18 as the featured guest in ExtraOrdinary, a celebration of musical theater at the A.R.T.
