Casting Announced For MURDER FOR TWO At Playhouse On Park

Beat the winter blues with a trip to Playhouse on Park this January as it continues its Main Stage series with the hilarious Murder for Two, book and music by Joe Kinosian and book and lyrics by Kellen Blair, opening on January 16.

Everyone is a suspect in Murder for Two, an uproariously funny musical murder mystery with a twist: one actor investigates the crime, the other plays all of the suspects. And they both do this while playing the piano! A zany blend of classic musical comedy and madcap mystery, this 90-minute whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with killer laughs.

Starring in this production, and making their Playhouse debuts, are: Trevor Dorner (National Tour: Jerry Lee Lewis MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET; Engeman Theatre: Malcolm u/s THE FULL MONTY; Holland America Line: Piano/Singer BILLBOARD ONBOARD; PacRep Playhouse: Jerry Lee Lewis MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET; Arts Center of Coastal Carolina: Ensemble SISTER ACT; Ohio Northern University: Bobby COMPANY, Guido Contini NINE, Aldolpho THE DROWSY CHAPERONE) as The Suspects, and John Grieco (Depot Theatre: Marcus MURDER FOR TWO, Harbor Lights Theatre: Tony WEST SIDE STORY, Croswell Opera House: Jerry Lee Lewis MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, Florida Studio Theatre: PIANO MEN, Ocean City Theatre: Curly OKLAHOMA, Mac-Haydn Theatre: Billy Bigelow CAROUSEL, Fulton Theatre: LES MISERABLES, Riverside Theatre: LES MISERABLES, SOUTH PACIFIC, Gateway Playhouse: PHANTOM) as Marcus.

Hartt School graduate, and New York based director, actor and producer, Kyle Metzger directs Murder for Two. He is co-founder of The Glass Eye in 2012 with fellow alumni to create new work and re-imagine the classics. Murder for Two runs January 16-February 3.

Tickets are now on sale and are $30-$40. Student, Senior, and Let's Go Arts discounts are available. Previews are on January 16 and 17, with all tickets at $17.50. Opening night is Friday, January 18! A complimentary wine and cheese reception will be held at 7pm, with the show to follow at 8pm.
