PATABS (Pennsylvania Theatrical Arts by Brittany Stevens) will be presenting 'SHREK, THE MUSICAL' at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover, PA this May. This is the second time in the last 5 years that the performing arts studio will be presenting this 'bigger than life' musical. When asked 'why do the show again', director of both the musical and the studio, Stevens said that she 'was excited to have this opportunity to bring these bigger than life characters to the stage at the Eichelberger'.

BroadwayWorld announced Monday that two time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster would star in the 2020 revival of The Music Man. She joins fellow Tony winner Hugh Jackman in the Meredith Wilson classic. She'll soon be playing Marian the Librarian, but look back at the roles that led her to become a new icon for this era of Broadway.

The New Year kicks off with Stu for Silverton, which continues its developmental journey as a part of The 5th's New Musical Development Program. Next comes a joyful 5th Avenue Theatre original production of Sister Act, followed by an exclusive, limited two-week engagement of Once On This Island. The season will close with an original staging of the epic masterpiece, Evita. Additionally, The 5th will host a one-week run of the national tour of Jersey Boys.

Northport's exquisite John W. Engeman Theatre does it again with a boffo incarnation of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story. Starting January 31st Elm Street Cultural Arts Village gets the "Once upon a time" treatment with the opening night of Shrek Jr., a ferociously funny and fresh musical based on the hit Dreamworks film and picture book of the same name. Presented by Kragor Orthodontics, Shrek Jr. tells the story of an ogre who takes on a larger than life adventure to reclaim his swamp, meeting a fast-talking donkey, a fiery princess, and a slew of fairy tale creatures along the way.

Washington National Opera (WNO) continues its annual holiday family opera tradition with The Lion, the Unicorn, and Me, December 14-16, 2018, in the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater. The 10th anniversary production of Yasmina Reza's award-winning farce God of Carnage comes to Theatre Royal Bath's Main House where it runs until Saturday 15 September, with opening night for press on today 5 September. Lindsay Posner directs the production, as part of Artistic Director Jonathan Church's second Summer Season at Theatre Royal Bath. Starring much-loved actors from hit television series Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey), Amanda Abbington (Sherlock), Ralf Little (The Royle Family) and Nigel Lindsay (Victoria), the play is a ruthlessly comic study of middle-class parenting.

PizzaExpress Live presents "Live in Central Park [Revisited]: Simon and Garfunkel," a re-creation of the iconic 1981 reunion concert featuring award-winning recording artists Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers. Lessack and Rodgers will perform all the masterpieces heard on the night that half a million people gathered in Central Park to witness musical history.
